Colorado GPS Tracks
The following GPS files are divided up by geographical region and provided in both GPX and KML (Google Earth) formats. I do not post any tracks that I have not personally driven and recorded, so that I can be sure they are as accurate as possible. If there is more detailed information about a trail, the name of the trail will be a link to the proper page.

Little Annie Road, Lost Lake, Midnight Mine
all have the same zip file “Little_Annie_Midnight_Mine”
Front Range list
Lamartine Road is out of order

Thanks for catching my errors Rick! With as many tracks as I posted, it was bound to happen
I fixed Lost Lake and moved Lamartine Road to the proper place.
As for Little Annie Road and Midnight Mine, I guess I was a little lazy with those and did not split the track in half….so the same file contains both trails…..they are connected to form a small loop.
If you catch any more errors, let me know! Also stay tuned for my Utah trails, which I have been busy organizing and should be posting up soon.

WOW – Thank you so much for posting all the great information.
We travel with a netbook with DeLorme Topo map – I love to load the tracks to see where we are going – much better than following a route. I have the quads for Colorado and my wife really likes to see everything around us on the map. You have made finding trails much easier and more enjoyable for us!!
I am slowly but surely storing the tracks and trip reports by the mountain range for easy access.
We both have been volunteer campground hosts and worked seasonal visitor center and Park Ranger at Crawford State Park for the last three years. This year we are taking the summer off and exploring more! We belong to the Western Slope 4 Wheel club in Montrose and look forward to keeping busy this summer.
Thanks again, Bill & Kaye

Yes, many of the links to the tracks have been broken for a while. One of these days I will get around to fixing them. Sorry about that.

I am going to Colorado and Utah last week of August. I have a UTV, and would like to follow where I am going on my GPS. Is it possible to get a transparent file(s) that cover these two? Since I started using a GPS years ago I am hopeless with a map.

Great blog, fantastic resource. I am in the middle of planning a long dirt bike ride through CO and UT this summer and this site is a great resource for planning. Thanks for taking so much time to make it and keeping it up.

Thanks Kyle! I hope you have a great trip. I just wish I had time to add more tracks to this page….I haven’t added anything new in a year or two, but I’ve driven a ton of new trails and roads in that time. The tracks just keep piling up!
