Procession Panel
This morning I battled the wind, rain and sleet to climb up Comb Ridge to the Procession Panel petroglyph panel….and it was worth it. When I finally reached the panel, the rain and sleet finally took a rest so I could take some photos before heading back down.

After checking out the Procession Panel, we made our way down to the San Juan River to check out the Butler Wash petroglyph panel.
Bonus Photo 2: Newspaper Rock
On our way back home, I took a quick detour to photograph Newspaper Rock again. The last time I was here the lighting was bad, so I didn’t take any photos. With the overcast skies today, I was able to get a good shot with my wide-angle lens. I managed to get there for a short break from the heavy rain and sleet….it only drizzled on me a little as I took this shot.
