Amanda and I decided to take my new JK down to Ouray today so that I could do some snowshoeing and so that we could check out the mountains this winter.

A few miles before reaching Red Mountain Pass, we pulled off the highway at CR 31 so I could do some snowshoeing.
Just finished cleaning up the garage and pulled my 2000 XJ into there for the time being. Not sure when I will get started working on it, or how long it will take me……but it’a going to be in the garage for a while so I can fix a number of issues with it. Maybe even upgrade a few parts at the same time 
Hopefully I can get it out of the garage and back on the trails sometime this year….but we’ll see….
I went skiing today and took Amanda with me. The conditions were good as Powderhorn has got a bunch of snow over the last few days. After skiing we went for a late lunch at the Skiers Union Cafe and had some very good burgers. Here’s a couple pictures Amanda took of me…

2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon in Dark Charcoal Pearl
There were 9 miles on the odometer when I test drove it and 15 miles when I bought it….but then I had a 250+ mile drive home from Golden, CO. It’s got all the Rubicon features (electric lockers and front sway bar, rockrails, 4:1 Rock-Trac, Dana 44s, 4.10’s, skid plates, etc…). It also has the tow package, Media Center (6.5″ touchscreen, navigation, DVD, Hard Drive uConnect, Sirius, etc…), Freedom hard top and Remote Start. The only option it didn’t come with was the dual tops, so I am going to need to buy a soft top before it warms up around here 
Well, I finally got rid of my F-350 today. It served me well when I needed it, but since I no longer tow my Jeep anymore it has just been sitting unused in the driveway for way too long.
I just got back a little while ago from my first skiing class at Powderhorn. I’m happy to report that I survived and had a good time. Only two more days to go!
