Here’s some pics after I de-blinged it today
I picked some parts up from the dealer I bought it from today…they promised me to replace a few things that were broken or missing

After replacing those, I moved on to the de-chrome phase

Also got rid of those FX4 stickers

Finally I got rid of the very dark tint on the front windows. Not only do I not want to get pulled over…..I couldn’t see out of them at night

the leftovers

I think it looks much better

Goodbye Expedition….

Found a great deal on this 2003 F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab 4×4 DRW. It needs a little work cosmetically (plus removing the chrome stuff and hood scoops), but runs and drives great. It’s got the 7.3 PowerStroke with only 80,000 miles on it….so it still has 20k left on the power train warranty
As always, here’s a few pictures

Finally went back and got this cache on Wednesday evening with Amanda….
We had started this multi-cache a few weeks ago (since it is right near my house) but we didn’t finish it at the time. Here’s a few pics from the park it is located at.
Log needs to be replaced

Figured that since I was in Wisconsin, I may as well do a little geocaching in the area. Here’s a few pictures from my adventures, since these caches brought me to some interesting places.

One of the caches led me to this very cool waterfall

Here’s a map of the track I kept on my GPS during our Saturday run on McCaslin Mountain. Unfortunately, the satellite images Google Earth has of that area are not the greatest. Click on the image for a bigger one.
