No wheeling this weekend (getting ready for my CO trip in a few weeks), so Cooter, Joe, BONEZ, and Dug came over and we started building a cage for my XJ.

We pretty much spent all day working on it. All we got left is one bend, a few more notches, some grinding, and the final welds. Hopefully will finish next weekend.

my damage from last weekend:

Anyways, the roll pin had backed out. It was at the bottom of the diff…I tried putting it back in, and the fit was very loose. I found a brand new roll pin, and will reinstall when the new cross shaft arrives.

….until his shock breaks off, his coil falls out, and his rear axle drives under the jeep. he also tweaked his controls arms, tore one of his axle brackets, bent a shock, and broke a brake hard line. i think that was all…..
