Had a great time. Even saw Sponge on my way home on 294.

Also had a run-in with the “flying winch cable of doom” that some have spoken of!
Where’d the hook and loop go?
Yep, that’s right…..my cable snapped under a pretty big load. Guess what happened? It fell right to the ground. It did not snap back or anything. (No winch weight either).
Some duct tape should hold it……right?

Used the winch like that a few times the rest of the day with no problems.
Guess it’s time for a new cable.
This is just a reminder that four wheeling can be a dangerous activity if not done correctly. Especially during recovery situations.
