A day at Arches National Park

On Saturday, Amanda and I spent the day at Arches National Park to do some wheeling, hiking, and sight-seeing. She had never been there before and wanted to go for her birthday.

We started out on the trail to Tower Arch.

Once you make it to the end of the trail, it’s a short hike to see the arch.

After heading back to the main road, we quickly stopped at Skyline Arch for a picture.

After stopping for lunch, we headed out on a hike on the Broken Arch loop.

On the way, we took the short spur trail to check out Tapestry Arch.

Then we made our way over to Broken Arch, and went through.

We then headed over and took the short hike to Sand Dune Arch, which was pretty cool. Unfortunately the sun angle sucked while we were there, and there were too many people….so we didn’t stick around long. We will have to head back in the winter when there are less people around 😉

On our way out of the park, we stopped by Balanced Rock

…and after heading to the Brewery for dinner, we relaxed at our campsite for the evening.
